I love working with people that feel like life is dull, boring, colorless, and help them go inside to light up a little spark of wonder, so they can start to enjoy the little moments of life, taste gratitude again, and find magic in ordinary/random encounters.
I have been practicing meditation for more than 15 years and for a long time it has been a struggle to sit and quiet my mind, it was only recently that I realized I don't have to quiet the mind I only have to get curious and notice whatever is happening. Through the practice of Hakomi I learned the benefits of doing this practice with the help of someone next to me, guiding me in loving kindness presence.
When we slow down and turn our attention inside it is a bit like turning on the light in a dark room. Suddenly everything seems much more clear, easier to understand. The practice of mindfulness allows us to process thoughts, emotions and sensations.
Sound and Music have been used since immemorial times for therapy and to bring peace to human beings.
The vibrations of sound simply remind our cells of their natural and harmonious rhythm which can allow healing to simply occur.
