My main interest is to connect with the student and to find together what it is you really want to do/learn (learn technique, improvise, play some songs or just having fun with the instrument). To light on the fire, the passion for music.
I really believe in the power of learning while having a good time, no need to learn lots of technique if we don't know what it is used for.
I often meet people who tell me how they stopped studying music as kids because the lessons and teachers were focusing on technique and not on enjoying music, that makes me sad.
